We built LooBloo to change the way people meet. Instead of awkward small talk and surface-level profiles, LooBloo is about real connection through play, conversation, and shared experiences. Our events are designed to break the ice naturally — with games, laughter, and just the right amount of friendly competition.
Laura and Casey first met on the mats at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and quickly bonded over a shared belief that the best connections happen when people are present, curious, and having fun. What started as conversations between friends about how frustrating modern dating had become turned into a mission: create a better way for people to meet.
LooBloo is that mission brought to life.
Our mission is to turn strangers into meaningful connections through low-pressure, playfully designed experiences that replace awkward small talk with moments of authenticity.
The Origin Story
LooBloo was created by two best friends who were tired of hearing the same story from everyone around them: endless swiping, awkward first dates, and dating apps that felt more like a game of chance than a real way to meet someone.
The original idea for LooBloo started with Laura. After hearing countless frustrating stories from friends about dating apps, she began imagining a better way for people to meet — one that felt more natural, fun, and human. When she shared the idea with Casey, the two immediately had a brain blast and realized they were completely on the same page about building something different.
And yes — the photo of us in wild outfits in Las Vegas? We picked those outfits for each other. Because if you can laugh at yourself and try something new, you’re already halfway to making a real connection.
